Primarily, I research the effects of social commitment on firm behavior and financial outcomes. Additionally, I'm interested in regulation, enforcement, and securities litigation, particularly as they affect firm behavior.
I will be on the 2023/2024 job market. In my job market paper, I study the differential real effects of corporate LGBT disclosures for firms whose real actions align with their disclosures versus firms whose real actions are less aligned with their disclosures. In the paper, I also explore peer effects of firm LGBT support. In other research, I study how changes in enforcement affect discrimination in mortgage lending and how these effects are moderated (or not) by firm culture and social commitment.Â
